About The Position

The Donation Associate role at Stephen Center is a hands-on position focused on assisting the Community Resource Coordinator in managing donations. This role involves organizing and maintaining the donation intake process, ensuring a clean and organized dock and storage area, and actively promoting the mission of Stephen Center to the community. The Donation Associate will collaborate with staff and volunteers to meet production goals and support individuals in overcoming homelessness and poverty.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of continuous sobriety if in recovery from substance use.
• Professional conduct conducive to recovery from mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
• Abide by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
• Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Resource Coordinator in accepting and organizing donations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock and storage area.
• Promote Stephen Center's mission to the community.
• Work with the Development Department to meet production goals.
• Practice sound inventory management.
• Perform general upkeep in the dock area, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Be prepared to work a flexible/on-call schedule as needed.
• Meet goals set by the Community Resource Coordinator.
• Conduct all duties and interactions fairly and without discrimination.
