Donated Body Decedent Care Driver - Hourly
About The Position
The Center for Anatomical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire Hourly Decedent Care Drivers to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Assist Donated Body Program Staff with making removals and transport of donor from the place of death to UNTHSC. Assist with coordinating set up of labs and courses at UNTHSC. Will work on the completion of donation paperwork with NOK. Completion of paperwork with donor families. Will assist with general up keep of the labs. Will assist with setting up and breaking down in house courses. Will assist with transporting specimens to local outside crematory.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid TX drivers license
- Clean Driving Record
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds as needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Responsibilities
- Assist Donated Body Program Staff with making removals and transport of donor from place of death to UNT Health Science Center Fort Worth.
- Assist with coordinating set up & breakdown of labs and course held at UNT Health Science Center Fort Worth and general cleaning straightening of lab space.
- Transporting of donors local outside crematory vendor.
- Delivery of donor cremated remains to donor designee.
- Completion of paperwork with NOK and/or donor families.
