About The Position

Domu.ai is one of the very first voice-AI startups powering collections and servicing for the world’s biggest financial institutions. Only a handful of companies have entered this space, and we’re already handling thousands of live calls every day for Fortune 500 banks and insurers. Our ARR has tripled, and we’re on track to become the gold standard in financial-services voice AI. We move fast, ship daily, and refuse to stop until our product outperforms expectations. We deeply care about doing great work.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working in a startup.
• Experience as the first hire at another company.
• Experience in a startup post-Series A from the beginning of the company.
• Comfortable building full-stack features.
• Care about product, not just code.
• Have owned something meaningful end-to-end in the past (a product module, an infra refactor, etc).
• Resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the entire product and make decisions at the product level instead of merely following orders.
• Talk with customers.
• Do what others don’t want to do. You may need to get into areas like telephony.
• Encourage the team to improve continuously.
• Make architectural decisions.
• Help shape the engineering culture.
• Ensure our DX is exceptional and makes it easy to ship day 1.
• Spend a significant portion of your time coding, likely over 80%.
