About The Position
The Family Support Specialist for the Family Empowerment program is dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence by providing resources, education, and support. This program aims to support long-term stability for individuals and their children who have been affected by domestic violence. The position requires flexibility in hours, typically working Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Wednesday/Thursday from 10 AM to 7 PM, with evening groups scheduled from 6 PM to 7 PM. The role includes a hiring bonus of $500 at 3 months, $500 at 6 months, and $500 at 12 months.
