About The Position

Maze of Life is a comprehensive community resource center for social services, mandated and proactive classes, and education. Operating as a private, franchised organization in 20 states and rapidly expanding, we embody the motto ‘One Company, Many Partners.’ We serve individuals, organizations, and communities by offering 30+ customized classes and tailored support to meet our clientele's needs. Our in-person and online classes are facilitated by CAMS-Certified Coaches and Counselors. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience working with individuals affected by domestic violence, preferably in a facilitative or therapeutic capacity.
  • Certification or training in domestic violence prevention and intervention, specifically in Partner Abuse Intervention Programs (PAIP) or Batterers Intervention Prevention Program (BIPP).
  • Strong understanding of domestic violence issues, trauma-informed care, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Proven ability to facilitate group discussions and manage group dynamics effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of domestic violence intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group and individual sessions for participants, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that encourages open communication and personal reflection.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants to identify their needs, motivations, and barriers to change.
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies that address the unique circumstances of each participant while adhering to the best practices in domestic violence intervention.
  • Monitor participant progress and provide ongoing feedback, support, and accountability throughout the program.
  • Collaborate with community resources and partner organizations to ensure comprehensive support for participants, including referrals to additional services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of participant attendance, progress, and outcomes in compliance with legal and organizational guidelines.
  • Attend regular training and professional development sessions to stay informed of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in domestic violence intervention.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of program delivery and participant outcomes.
  • Cross-train in various departmental functions to enhance operational flexibility and support team efficiency.
