About The Position

Join our team as a Dome Watch Full Stack Developer We're a nationwide IT company and we have a prospective position in Washington DC or remote. If you're interested, please take the time to send us an email in response, and include your availability and previous work experience.

Requirements

  • Experience using modern web development tools, techniques, and methods for the creation and deployment of user-facing interfaces and backend web applications, including all aspects of server-side processing, data storage, and integration.
  • Experience with DemCom, Resume Bank, DomeWatch, Dome Directory, and affiliated web, mobile, and backend services.
  • 5+ years full-stack engineering experience, with 1-3 years supporting production systems with mobile and web components.
  • A US GOVT BACKGROUND CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO FILL THIS POSITION
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting Democratic Leadership systems (DemCom, DomeWatch, Dome Directory, Resume Bank).
  • Experience with ETL or aggregation pipelines.
  • Knowledge of legislative workflows and leadership communications.
  • Experience with search systems (OpenSearch/ElasticSearch).

Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience supporting, maintaining, and debugging production systems built using Vue, Nuxt, Node.js/TypeScript, and related frontend and backend frameworks.
  • Proficiency maintaining and extending mobile applications for iOS and Android, including experience with Flutter or native workflows; managing releases through Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
  • Hands-on experience managing cloud-hosted applications in AWS and Google Cloud, including log analysis, service restarts, container updates, and secure configuration changes.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues in distributed systems.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or similar datastores.
  • Proficiency with containerization and CI/CD (Docker, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Experience with administrative dashboards, analytics interfaces, and internal middleware.
  • Familiarity with House APIs, authentication layers, and OAuth2/MSAL integrations.
  • Provide rapid responses to urgent issues.
  • Diagnose production failures, data ingestion errors, or service interruptions.
  • Perform safe hotfix deployments and configuration updates.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders during time-sensitive incidents.
  • Manage app store updates, certificates, and compliance workflows.
