About The Position

Core Responsibilities: 1. Provides the architectural leadership in shaping strategic, infrastructure technology programs and planning 2. Leverages knowledge capital available through subscription research services and critical resources for related knowledge capital, inclusive of blogs, podcasts, webinar, etc. 3. Produces technology roadmaps, defines reference and implementation architectures, and develops proof-of-concept prototypes and initial implementation models. 4. Ensures implementation solutions support architecture objectives (availability, scalability, performance, security, etc.), as appropriate, and monitors implementation activities to ensure architecture and design principles are upheld. 5. Utilizes partnership skills especially in the areas of persuasion, influence, conceptualizing solutions and problem solving. 6. Communicates complicated technical concepts effectively to a broad group of stakeholders. 7. Establishes relationships with IT leaders, architects, and technical specialists for the purpose of advancing proposed architectural solutions, and ensuring availability of infrastructure technologies and support. 8. Possesses deep understanding of the competitive landscape and corporate and business unit strategies to provide context for architectural decision making. 9. Identifies and mitigates risks of introducing architecture technology enhancements, ensures that IT project teams comply with IT Governance policies and procedures. 10. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. 11. Defines and governs enterprise campus network architectures, including wired access, wireless LAN (WLAN), and edge connectivity designs. 12. Provides architectural leadership for network access control (NAC) solutions, including Cisco ISE/HPE ClearPass, covering authentication, authorization, profiling, posture assessment, and policy enforcement. 13 Leads the design and standardization of enterprise wireless architectures using HPE Aruba Networks platforms, including controller‑based and controller‑less designs, RF planning, roaming, and high‑availability models. 14. Establishes standards for secure user and device onboarding, guest access, BYOD, IoT connectivity, and Captive Portal authentication, across campus environments. 15. Ensures campus network designs align with zero trust principles, identity‑based segmentation, and enterprise security standards. 16. Defines patterns for integrating campus networks with data center, WAN, SD‑WAN, and cloud connectivity architectures. 17. Partners with endpoint, identity, security operations, and workplace technology teams to ensure consistent end‑to‑end user experience and policy enforcement. 18. Identifies opportunities for platform monitoring, observability, and alerting. 19. Evaluates campus networking technologies and vendors based on scalability, operational simplicity, resiliency, user experience, and lifecycle alignment. Qualifications: Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of technology architect experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred. Deep expertise in campus networking architectures, including LAN, Cisco Catalyst Center, WLAN, Aruba Central, AAA, QoS, and edge design patterns. Architectural experience with Cisco ISE and HPE ClearPass, including identity services, policy sets, integrations with directory services, and enforcement models. Strong hands‑on architectural experience with HPE Aruba wireless solutions, including RF design, mobility services, Captive Portal, and enterprise‑scale deployments. Solid understanding of identity‑based networking, segmentation, and zero trust access models in campus environments. Experience integrating campus networks with security platforms, endpoint management, and enterprise authentication services. Strong knowledge of high‑availability, resiliency, and operational governance for large‑scale globally distributed campus infrastructures.
