About The Position
Kathy Santo Dog Training Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. With over 30 years of experience in dog training, we pride ourselves on providing a balanced, reward-based training environment. Our facility sees hundreds of dogs and puppies each week through various programs including classes, Student-Only PlayCare, FastTrack, Boarding, and Grooming. We are looking for an individual who is not only enthusiastic about dogs but also possesses the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. This role is physically demanding, requiring the individual to be on their feet for the majority of their shift, walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, optimistic, and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The position involves not only walking dogs but also maintaining a clean and safe environment for them. This includes cleaning up after the dogs, deep cleaning kennels, and managing waste disposal. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of balanced training and is willing to implement the techniques we teach into their daily responsibilities. Our team is committed to providing the best care for our canine clients, and we expect our staff to share this commitment. The role requires outstanding customer service and communication skills, as you will be interacting with clients and their pets regularly.
