About The Position

We are the locally owned territory of the fastest growing dog training company in the country: Off Leash K9 Training, LLC. This is a demanding and challenging profession. We need someone that is highly driven to establish professional relationships and be successful.

Requirements

Must reside in the Raleigh/Durham or surrounding areas
Must be willing and able to board at least 1 dogs at your residence for 14 days at a time.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be willing and able to train private lessons for at least 8-12 hours a week.
Must have a smartphone (iPhone preferred).
Must have knowledge with basic video editing (iMovie preferred).
Must have knowledge with Social Media (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, etc.)
Must be able to complete a 3 week training course with us, here in Raleigh/Durham.

Responsibilities

Handling and training small and large breeds from puppy to adult, for average pet home.
Working with dogs needing behavior modification from anxiety to aggression.
Understanding animal behavior and being able to explain it to pet owners.
Interacting with the public in a professional manner.
Teaching private lessons.
Working with your board and train.
Sending daily updates to the owner of your board and train(s) - progress report with pic and/or short video clip.
Continuing education and increasing skill in training, both dogs and human.
Attend possible PR events in the area when scheduled.
Boarding client's dogs when they go out of town
