About The Position

Comfy Home Dog Boarding is looking for a passionate and skilled dog trainer to lead the development of a new training program specifically for small dogs. This part-time, contract position offers the opportunity to create a comprehensive training service that aligns with our existing boarding and daycare operations, fostering a supportive and dog-loving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive small dog training program, including group classes, private lessons, and behavior consultations.
• Develop and market training packages to clients, leveraging our existing customer base and local networks.
• Work closely with our team to integrate training into boarding and daycare services, ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide them with education and tools to reinforce positive training at home.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for both dogs and owners during training sessions.
• Track and assess the progress of dogs and adjust training plans as needed.
• Collaborate on marketing initiatives, including social media content, email campaigns, and in-person events to promote the training program.
