About The Position

We are looking for the right person to open our new location in Tallahasee, Florida! We are looking for someone to partner with for this location at a 60/40 split. All systems and platforms are set up to set every location up for success from the start! We can fully train and assist the new manager throughout the process to help set you up on the right path. This is a demanding and challenging profession. We need someone that is highly driven to establish professional relationships and be successful.

Requirements

• Must reside in or around the Tallahassee area.
• Must be able to board at least 2 dogs at your residence for 14 days at a time. (Training dogs are NOT interacting with personal dogs or free in your home.)
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a smartphone. (iPhone preferred)
• Must have knowledge with Social Media (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, etc.)
• Must complete a 21 day certification process at the OLK9 Training Facility in VA or 135 Hours hands on training in SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL. directly with me. Hotel will be paid for.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, honest, and most importantly, a passion for dogs.
• Customer service and communication skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

• Computer skills with the ability to create dog training videos. (We can teach you this.)
• The ability to work during peak traffic periods during weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handling and training small and large breeds from puppy to adult.
• Working with dogs needing behavior modification from anxiety to aggression.
• Interacting with the public in a professional manner.
• Answering emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
• Driving to appointments in the Tallahassee area.
• Continuing education and increasing skill in training, both dogs and human.
• Attend PR events.
• Be self motivated!
