About The Position

Our groomer wasn’t burned out because she went home ON TIME after EVERY SHIFT during the holidays.
This isn’t by accident. Our schedule doesn’t allow us to squeeze another dog in.

One dog at a time, start to finish — no juggling dogs, no rushing because another one is waiting, no constant clock-watching.
Each groom happens in a private room with the door closed. It’s quiet and uninterrupted, so focus stays on the dog in front of you.
Dogs are scheduled by time, not by volume. When the day is full, it stays full — no squeezing one more in and no staying late to catch up.
Workdays run without constant supervision. Judgment is trusted, and the pace stays focused on quality, not speed.
Build real bonds with the dogs you see regularly and take pride in watching them grow over time.
Groomers who bring their own clients are appreciated and financially rewarded. Relationships built here matter — and they’re treated that way.
Compensation:
Pay averages $55–$85/hour, combining hourly pay, commission, tips, and bonuses — without relying on overbooking to make it work.

Requirements

• 24+ months professional grooming experience
• At least 12 consecutive months with the same employer
• Able to complete full grooms independently across a range of dog sizes
• Comfortable grooming large and giant dogs independently (approximately 60–150 lbs), while using professional judgment to limit how many are scheduled per day
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand most of the shift
• Lives within ~30 minutes of Everett during weekday commute hours (8:00 AM)
