About The Position

The Village Dallas is looking for a multi-talented Dog Groomer for Wag'N Bone Dog Kitchen & Bath. REQUIREMENTS: Lead by positivity and embrace all Village Dallas Guests and fellow teammates with a great attitude. Leading the Grooming Team in BOH with overall cleanliness, best practices for dog grooming protocols Outstanding bathing and grooming standards; having the highest regard to a dog’s sense of well being. Learn all existing and NEW product lines coming in the store. Establish rapport with the Village Guest and general public; providing them with outstanding product knowledge of dog related products and services (with a huge focus on education and preventative care). Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements, bathing/grooming sanitation standards for BOH grooming protocols and safety, sanitation standards. The occasional attendance in Dog related trade shows throughout the year (if needed). SALES AND OPERATIONS: Proficient skills on POS and retail selling (may need to possess open/closing duties & cash handling skills) when needed for any opening/closing duties. Excellence in product knowledge; as education of features and benefits help sell products Performs opening and closing responsibilities for cleaning of Bathing & Grooming spaces. Adheres to all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Venue as well as guidelines from the state. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma (college preferred) Licensed Dog Grooming professional with 1 year experience in dog grooming salon. National Certified Master Groomer or International Certified Master Groomers a huge plus!
