About The Position

Comfy Home Dog Boarding is looking for a skilled dog groomer to establish and manage a new grooming program specifically for small dogs. This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a grooming service independently while working in a supportive environment. The groomer will be responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services and building a loyal client base.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dog groomer, with strong skills in grooming techniques for small dog breeds.
• Certification from a recognized grooming school or equivalent experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to take ownership of and grow a grooming program.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle dogs with patience and compassion, ensuring their comfort and well-being during grooming sessions.

Responsibilities

• Design and launch a grooming service tailored to small dogs, including baths, haircuts, nail trimming, and other grooming needs.
• Manage all aspects of the grooming program, including scheduling, client relations, and maintaining grooming equipment.
• Deliver high-quality grooming services that ensure the comfort and safety of the dogs.
• Build a loyal client base by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment.
• Collaborate with the Comfy Home team to integrate grooming services with daycare and boarding programs.
• Assist with marketing initiatives to promote the grooming program, including social media content, specials, and referral programs.
• Uphold all safety and sanitation standards in the grooming area.
