About The Position

Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue is seeking dedicated and loving fosters to provide temporary homes for rescue dogs during the holiday season. This role is crucial for the well-being of the dogs, offering them a safe and nurturing environment while they await adoption. Fosters can choose to commit for a short-term or long-term basis, making a significant impact on the lives of these animals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Comfortable with large dogs (60-100 lbs).
• No small children under 10 or small pets in the home (other large dogs are acceptable).
• Reliable transportation for adoption events and vet appointments.
• Landlord/roommate/spouse approval required before fostering.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dog training or behavior management.
• Ability to provide a structured and calm environment for the dogs.
• Willingness to foster for at least 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and loving home for foster dogs.
• Attend adoption events and vet appointments as needed.
• Ensure the dog's needs are met, including training and socialization.
