About The Position

Canines Canyon is seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our family-owned pet care facility. The role involves caring for dogs and cats, ensuring their safety and well-being while maintaining a clean and organized environment. The position requires a love for animals, the ability to handle large dogs, and a commitment to providing excellent care during busy holiday periods.

Requirements

• Experience in pet care or kennel work (11+ years preferred).
• Ability to handle large and strong dogs.
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills.
• Dependable and responsible with reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in any dog care field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor playgroups of up to 15 dogs with kindness and discipline.
• Complete meal service and administer medications for kennel dogs.
• Maintain clean playgrounds, playrooms, kitchen, and kennels.
• Shovel snow from play yards when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other employees and follow directions.
• Be alert and attentive at all times during shifts.
