About The Position
Barks and Recreation is seeking to hire one part-time and one full-time kennel staff team member as the summer comes to an end and school starts back. We specifically need individuals who are available to work on Tuesdays and Sundays. We value punctuality, reliability, kindness, and a team-oriented mindset in our staff. A love for dogs is essential for this role! The job involves various responsibilities including feeding and walking dogs, bathing them, cleaning kennels and play yards, and monitoring the dogs during daycare to maintain a safe, fun, and healthy environment. Additionally, staff will be responsible for doing laundry and dishes throughout the day, as well as general cleaning of the facility. While this job is a lot of fun and involves playing with the dogs, it can also be physically demanding and fast-paced. Staff will work both inside and outside each day, so we need someone who is comfortable in a hands-on working environment. Although animal care experience is a plus, it is not a requirement. This position offers flexible scheduling and various shift options, including 4-hour and 8-hour shifts, with workdays including holidays, Monday to Friday, and weekends as needed.
