About The Position

The Dog Daycare Attendant at Paws N Pals Doggy Daycare is responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for dogs of all sizes. This role involves supervising playgroups, ensuring the well-being of the dogs, and maintaining cleanliness in the facility. The attendant will use positive reinforcement methods to encourage good behavior and assist in the socialization and training of the dogs in their care.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Prior experience in the pet services business preferred but not required
• Self-sufficient with limited help from other team members
• Ability to stand for 6+ hours on concrete floors with limited sitting
• Reliable transportation
• Ideal candidate should live within 15 miles of the facility

Responsibilities

• Supervise large groups of canines in play
• Feed and medicate boarding animals within our care
• Deep clean and sanitize dog bedrooms
• Clean dishes
• Complete observation reports for individual dogs
• Learn about dogs and dog behaviors
• Pick up animal fluids and wastes
• Interact with clients
• Input files into computer
• Answer phones
