• Physical ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks requiring bending, kneeling, or standing for long periods.
• Basic understanding of dog behavior and body language.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for dogs in the boarding facility, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Engage with dogs through walks, playtime, and other enriching activities.
• Feed dogs according to their dietary needs and provide fresh water as needed.
• Monitor dog behavior and step in to prevent or address any aggressive or unsafe interactions.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, common areas, and feeding spaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Administer medications or special care as directed by owners or veterinarians.
• Record daily activities, behavior, and any health concerns for each dog in your care.
• Communicate with pet owners about their dogs' boarding experience when necessary.
