About the position
We are seeking a Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for providing bathing and grooming services to our furry clients. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals who have a passion for animals and want to start a career in the pet care industry.
Responsibilities
- Bathe and groom pets, including washing, conditioning, blow drying, brushing, and combing pets' fur
- Clean and sanitize grooming tools and equipment
- Perform nail trims, nail dremmels, and ear cleaning
- Handle animals with care and ensure their safety during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Previous experience in pet grooming or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on current grooming techniques and trends
