About The Position

As a Dog Bather / Groomer in Training , you’ll be hands-on with the dogs, helping them look and feel their best. You’ll start by mastering the basics—bathing, drying, and providing routine wellness care—with the opportunity to advance into a certified Groomer role through our training program! • A dog lover – You’re passionate about keeping dogs clean and healthy

• Strong and reliable – Able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods

• Great communicator – You can work well with team members and dog parents

Responsibilities

• Bathe, blow-dry, clip/grind nails, clean ears, brush coat, clean teeth, and express glands
• Prep dogs for grooming according to the service ticket
• Perform wellness checks using our S.C.E.N.T. Check app
• Work as part of a team to ensure services are completed efficiently
• Assist team members and ask for assistance when needed
• Ensure the safety of all dogs and team members at all times
• Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
• Perform other duties as needed to keep the center running smoothly
