About The Position

The primary goal of our proposal is to use an automated robotic platform, guided by a probabilistic experimental design strategy to design intrinsically disordered peptide polymers (IDPPs) that undergo liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) under specific physiological conditions (e.g., temperature, pH, presence of solvents, etc.). This strategy leverages Argonne’s latest advances in artificial intelligence approaches and integrates them with robotic platforms to demonstrate the capability of ‘automated labs’ in the context of bio-engineering applications.
