About The Position
The DOD SkillBridge Fellowship for Medicare Sales Field Agent at Humana is an exciting opportunity for transitioning servicemembers looking to enter the healthcare sales field. This internship program is designed to equip participants with the necessary licensing and certification to sell Medicare plans, while also providing comprehensive training on individual health plan products. Participants will learn how to effectively educate beneficiaries about Humana's services in a field setting, which includes face-to-face, telephonic, and virtual interactions with customers and community partners. As a Medicare Sales Field Agent, you will work closely with a mentor to develop community relationships, drive self-generated sales, and achieve sales goals and metrics. This role is pivotal in helping Humana reach its mission of putting health first for its customers. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, as agents will be responsible for selling not only Medicare plans but also additional products such as Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, and Prescription plans.
