About The Position

Lynch Consultants, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst with Department of Defense (DoD) financial management experience to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and operational support to a government comptroller organization while developing your expertise in federal financial management and fiscal execution. Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret Clearance
• 3+ years of experience specific to DoD Financial Management
• Strong understanding of DoD financial operations
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GFEBS and DAI systems
• Knowledge of fiscal year-end closeout and financial tracking processes.
• Ability to support year-end closeout activities.
• Comfortable working independently, multitasking, and applying sound judgment in support of financial operations and execution activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports to enhance decision-making.
• Review and analyze Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs); identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain and update SharePoint-based financial tracking systems.
• Extract and analyze data from enterprise systems such as ADVANA to support execution tracking and de-obligations
• Assist with fiscal year-end closeout and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide organizational and administrative support to the comptroller’s office.
