ExpediteInfoTech, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Business Development & Capture Manager with a proven track record in securing sole-source contracts from the US Department of Defense (DOD). This role is pivotal in building a pipeline of opportunities and executing a comprehensive capture strategy, which includes customer engagement, solution development, and pricing strategy. The successful candidate will manage the full business development lifecycle across multiple pursuits, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and strategic goals.

  • Leverage public and proprietary tools to identify opportunities for pursuit within DOD agencies.
  • Support senior executives in developing growth plans to achieve corporate revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute customer/stakeholder relationship management strategies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Capture Plan, including Win Strategy and Price to Win.
  • Influence customer requirements and generate solutions based on those requirements.
  • Identify capability gaps and develop plans to address them.
  • Refine value propositions and win themes based on customer interactions and competitive intelligence.
  • Support market-based competitive intelligence and strategic planning efforts.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships and advance strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct competitive assessments and make recommendations on approach and teaming partners.
  • Maintain knowledge/data within the company CRM database.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on opportunity statuses.
  • Drive business to existing GWACs and IDIQs/BPAs held by the company.
  • Facilitate technical demonstrations and proof of concepts for potential Federal customers.
  • Participate in proposal development, including identifying key discriminators and tailoring management approaches.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in BD/Capture for DOD procurement of IT Services.
  • Demonstrated experience capturing prime contracts with expertise in relationship management.
  • Ability to understand customers' unique missions and pain points.
  • Expert understanding of various contracting vehicles and acquisition strategies.
  • Proven experience winning contracts with DOD customers such as Army, Navy, USMC, USAF, etc.
  • Customer engagement experience with decision makers within the DOD.
  • Expert skills in deal qualification and capture strategy development.
  • Understanding of all contract types and their impact on risk and business cases.
  • Expert understanding of the DoD acquisition lifecycle and customer buying trends.
  • Located in the DC - Baltimore Metro area with ability to participate in local activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience briefing executives.
  • Experience with large and multi-year capture efforts, including strategic planning and proposals.
  • Experience working with Client Delivery teams to develop solutions for new opportunities.
  • Active involvement with industry associations like AFCEA or ACT-IAC.
  • Capture and proposal training such as Shipley.
  • Proposal leadership experience.
  • Understanding of technical skills in Modern Software Development, Cloud Solutions, AI/ML/RPA.
