About The Position

The Documentation Coordinator is the "Information Engine" of our facility. Moving beyond traditional administrative support, this is a critical project-control position responsible for ensuring that complex architectural and engineering data is accurately translated into manufacturing instructions. The ideal candidate possesses a "technical brain"—someone who enjoys high-volume data accuracy, understands the lifecycle of a construction project, and is eager to optimize internal systems. This role is a proven career-launcher at Hardman Signs for professionals interested in project management, data automation, and manufacturing technology.

Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in project coordination, document control, or a related technical-administrative role, preferably in an architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) environment.
  • While an Architecture, Design, or Engineering background is preferred, we value "power users" of software (Excel, CAD, Revit, or ERP systems) who understand how to manipulate and organize complex data sets.
  • A proven track record of managing high volumes of documentation without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with staff and external partners (construction firms, designers).
  • Highly motivated, detail-obsessed self-starter who is comfortable with a high volume of technical documentation and managing performance based on accuracy metrics.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Business, or a related technical field is preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Utilize spreadsheets and internal tools to track project progress and generate reports on document status for senior leadership.
