Requirements

  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Working knowledge of Acrobat, Bluebeam, or other PDF software
  • Working knowledge of MS Software such as Outlook, Excel, & Word
  • Tech savvy – able to navigate various software packages with limited training
  • The ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted and be able to stand for up to an hour at a time
  • Attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining quality, accuracy and scale.
  • A can-do attitude with a continuing need to self-improve by researching new materials and learning innovative ways to utilize production equipment in our quest to delight our clients
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years scanning, document handling, reprographics or printing experience
  • 1-2 years working experience in data entry, file handling, or document management
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Daily, consistent attendance is a must
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, evaluate, and determine the prep-level of documents to be scanned
  • Evaluate and make suggestions regarding file naming and folder structure based on documents received
  • Remove staples, post it notes, flags, & binding materials to prepare documents to be fed through a feed scanner
  • Create an index of the documents to be scanned so that you can later create a custom and meaningful digital folder structure for our client(s)
  • Scan both small and large format (larger than 11” x 17” paper) documents using a variety of production scanning equipment
  • Process the scanned documents so that they meet client requirements for scan quality, file size, being text-searchable, etc.
  • QC the scanned documents to make sure that all received documents have been scanned and that all scans are legible
  • Transmit the finished product to our client(s) via upload link, USB, etc.
  • Organize, arrange, and decorate your work area to enhance productivity
  • Work overtime when necessary to meet client expectations
  • Assist in other departments as needed
  • Assist customer service by answering phones and taking messages as needed
