The Document Recording Specialist at ServiceLink plays a crucial role in the mortgage services industry by ensuring the accurate recording of title documents. The role involves direct interaction with clients and requires reliable transportation to the office in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Recording title documents in a team environment.
  • Perform quality checks on documents prior to recording.
  • Submit documents to counties for recording via e-file systems and direct mail.
  • Calculate filing fees to be paid to the county for recording.
  • Troubleshoot rejected documents and re-submit to the county.
  • Work with recording service clients, answering their phone calls and emails.
  • Utilize UPS for tracking of incoming and outgoing documents.
  • React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years' experience working in an office environment.
  • 1-2 years' experience recording deed preferred.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft software products.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet daily production goals with high accuracy.
  • Critical reasoning and thinking skills required.
