About The Position

TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal records management or archival projects. Prior work involving permanent records scheduled for transfer to NARA. Familiarity with enterprise records preservation systems and structured metadata schemas.Experience performing 100% QC reviews and statistically valid sampling inspections. Background in records management, archives, library science, or digital preservation.Exposure to scanning environments requiring strict compliance, audit readiness, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of NARA regulations governing the digitization of permanent federal records.
  • Practical understanding of FADGI Technical Guidelines and performance measurement principles.
  • Experience with document scanning and quality assurance workflows in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with records management, digital preservation, or archival systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify systemic quality issues and apply corrective actions.
  • Professional discipline suited to high-accountability, audit-sensitive work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control review of digitized records to ensure compliance with FADGI 3-star or higher performance standards.
  • Conduct 100% inspection and statistically valid sampling of scanned images for clarity, completeness, resolution, color accuracy, and orientation.
  • Verify digitized records against source materials to confirm full capture of informational content and correct sequencing.
  • Identify, document, and correct image or metadata errors; coordinate rescanning when required.
  • Apply and validate administrative, descriptive, and technical metadata in accordance with NARA regulations and project guidelines.
  • Process high-speed production scans of paper documents, film, and fiche using approved scanning software and systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventories and tracking logs for document processing, scanning, review, and release.
  • Handle sensitive federal records in accordance with established security and confidentiality requirements.
  • Work independently or with minimal supervision while meeting daily quality and productivity expectations.
