About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Management Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the integrity of mission-critical information systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Configuration Manager to lead the configuration and document management processes within Confluence, supporting key USCYBERCOM initiatives. In this role, you will ensure that all content, documentation, and messaging are consistently structured, version-controlled, and accessible to authorized users. Your expertise will directly contribute to disciplined knowledge management and operational excellence in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or Associate’s degree with 10+ years of experience in a related field (Business Administration or similar preferred)
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Proven experience in configuration management, document control, or knowledge management within Confluence or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Confluence for content creation, organization, and configuration management; strong understanding of information architecture and best practices
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce configuration and content governance standards
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, mission-driven environments

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with USCYBERCOM, DoD, or interagency environments; experience supporting cyber or advanced technology organizations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration, organization, and lifecycle management of content and documentation within Confluence and other customer platforms.
  • Develop and enforce configuration management processes, including version control, change tracking, and archival procedures.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure documentation accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain content governance standards, ensuring consistency in structure, tone, and visual presentation.
  • Oversee the organization of documents, folders, and shared drives to preserve and facilitate access to critical knowledge assets.
  • Administer enterprise-wide document management systems, supporting the capture, storage, retrieval, sharing, and secure destruction of electronic records.
  • Translate complex technical, operational, and policy information into clear, actionable documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Support audits and reviews by maintaining comprehensive configuration records and documentation histories.
