Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3+ years in QA-related roles (e.g., Lab Analyst, Batch Log Auditor).
  • Skills & Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and batch preparation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards for infant formula and nutritional products.
  • Proficiency with AS/400 and computer systems.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Document Control: Administer change control for Work Orders, Plant Procedures, Job Aids, and other QA-controlled documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support Quality Systems: Implement and maintain effective quality systems aligned with regulatory standards, including GMP, nutritional labeling laws, and infant formula requirements.
  • Coordinate Production Readiness: Ensure all documentation, formulations, and packaging materials are in place before production begins.
  • Perform System Updates: Execute test mapping in LIMS for analytical lab tests and make minor recipe revisions in POMsnet as needed.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Write, update, and route Master Work Orders and quality documents to reflect actual plant practices.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Resolve document discrepancies, coordinate labeling and packaging changes, and support new product launches.
  • Lead Deviation Management: Facilitate deviation meetings, oversee implementation, and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
  • Provide Backup Support: Act as a resource for Document Coordinators and assist with engineering studies and clinical work orders.
