About The Position

The Document Control Technician supports the Quality Management System (QMS) by ensuring product documentation is accurate, compliant, and properly maintained. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role plays a key part in quality assurance, audits, training documentation, and product release activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent; or 2+ years of related experience/training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and graphs
  • Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Problem-solving skills for standard situations

Responsibilities

  • Review Device History File (DHF) records prior to product release
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation, labeling, counts, or parameters
  • Complete and organize product release documentation
  • Track lot status, archive lot files, and provide certification of lots
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed
  • Respond to customer material inquiries
  • Support various Quality Assurance projects and initiatives
  • Set up and maintain training records in IQMS
  • Archive and manage all QMS documents
