About The Position

You would need to onsite at our client location each day in Window Rock, Arizona. Parsons is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Document Controller to join our team in Window Rock, Arizona. This onsite role will play a critical part in managing and maintaining project documentation for initiatives supporting the Navajo Nation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in document control processes, a strong understanding of project workflows, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent), and typically 12+ years of related work experience with at least typically 8+ years in document controls (or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience).
  • Proficiency in document management software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with project workflows, document control standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Native American communities or tribal governments.
  • Knowledge of Navajo Nation culture, values, and governance structures.
  • Certification in document control or records management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation, distribution, tracking, and archiving of project documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and project requirements.
  • Review and verify documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established protocols.
  • Maintain and update document control systems, ensuring all records are properly stored and accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation of project milestones.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with applicable regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Generate regular reports on document status, revisions, and approvals for project teams and leadership.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on document control processes and systems.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to project documentation and communication.
