Job Scope: Provide document control and drafting services on-site to support mill project engineering, maintenance, reliability, process, safety, operations, environmental, contractors, consultants, vendors, corporate personnel and decommissioning. This work will be performed under general supervision.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced coursework is preferred.
  • This position requires 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in document control and administration.
  • Knowledge and application of company standards.
  • Knowledge of engineering document control standards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction plans and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of large-scale scanner and plotter operation.
  • Ability to organize effectively.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Web Collaboration Tools and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to comply with client procedures.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Newforma software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Document Management Systems – Autodesk Vault - Current database (157,609 records) includes: Mill AutoCAD drawings & PDF copies, Reserve drawing numbers, Equipment specs, manuals, drawings, Associate tag no’s to drawings & documents, Check out of drawings & documents, Vault training for mill personnel, Document search training assistance for new hires
  • Assignment of equipment tag no’s (via spreadsheet), Instruments (via ISS & spreadsheets) & Pipeline numbering (via spreadsheet)
  • Coordinate with Corporate for new SAP functional locations
  • Update drawings using AutoCAD per maintenance revision updates & project needs.
  • Elimination of files / cabinets containing non-essential data or duplicate data stored electronically.
  • Maintain drawing flat files.
  • Scanning drawings / documents along with electronic transfer of documents.
  • Inventory of drawings that still need to be scanned.
  • Creation and/or printing of color posters for Blood drives, Community events, Schedules, etc.
  • Research equipment information per requests.
  • Fulfill request for drawings for information (via emailing pdfs and/or copying, printing).
  • Maintain large format OCE 500 copier/scanner and HP630 color plotter & supplies.
  • Progress meetings and weekly reports are required.
