About The Position

The position involves administering and managing the Electronic Document Management Software (EDMS), along with handling spreadsheets and databases. The role requires logging various submittals such as drawings, samples, technical manuals, requests for information (RFIs), and requests for proposals (RFPs). The individual will coordinate document control processes by adhering to established procedures and protocols regarding document retention, issuing, and processing. As the first point of contact for any issues related to document control, the candidate will assist the project team with formal communications using project control systems. Participation in design, construction, and other meetings is also required, with a travel commitment of up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business or Technical Discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science)
  • Working familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microstation, Solidworks, REVIT, or other construction CAD systems such as BIM 360 is a plus
  • Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems is a plus
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical construction document control experience is a strong plus
  • Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and interact with Client administrative document control personnel on a daily basis

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate document control processes following established procedures and protocols
  • Act as the first point of contact for any issues regarding document control
  • Assist the project team with formal communication using project controls systems
  • Attend and participate in design, construction, and other meetings as required
  • Travel up to 10%
