A Document Control Coordinator is responsible for performing document control activities utilizing multiple databases, following established procedures to issue and maintain controlled Engineering documentation, for use by manufacturing and other departments across Nordson EFD locations. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate the release and revision process for controlled documentation, ensuring compliance with established procedures and working with affected departments. Manage archival and maintenance of controlled documentation Provide assistance and guidance to Engineering personnel with their document support needs to help resolve their specific documentation issues. Assist in the Engineering Change Process and its associated activities for the release and revision controlled documents, Bill of Materials (BOMS) and records. Perform Material Master processing functions in ERP System Perform BOM system data entry functions in ERP System Responsible for the operation of multiple databases, currently includes Engineering Change Request (ECR) / Engineering Change Order (ECO) Database and the Material Master Request (MMR) Perform routine and non-routine tasks, focus on customer needs and satisfaction, and facilitate efficient and accurate processing of controlled Engineering documentation and records. Assist in preparation, input, opening and management of ECR/ECO's in the ECR/ECO Intranet system. Assist in implementing non-routine processing for engineering documentation. Input the necessary information into the Nordson EFD Business System and process new part number, new/revised material master, part extensions and bill of material requests. Ensure compliance to procedures. Ensure that all new part numbers and material master requests comply with applicable Product Compliance, Import and Export procedures prior to issuance. Troubleshoot business system problems related to Material Master Data. Assists in aiding Engineering and Manufacturing personnel located both locally and in other Nordson EFD sites in processing their documentation releases and changes into the documentation system and helping resolve their specific documentation problems. Assists training and direction to other clerical personnel. Begin to cross train on other department position tasks for provision of backup support. Assist in the creation and maintenance of departmental work instructions and standard operating procedures. Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
