Introduction Maintain documentation control system per procedure. This maintenance will be in the form of computer based databases such as Excel and Word, as well as storage and distribution of printed material. Convert customer supplied CAM files into a format to quote bare printed circuit boards. Analyze assembly drawings, bills of material, specifications and other documentation to prepare labor estimates by performing the following duties.

  • Location: 100 % onsite in Greater Cleveland, Ohio
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma; or two to four years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and Team Members. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. The Individual must possess strong skills in grammar and proofreading.
  • Basic Math. Ability to calculate part counts and time estimates.
  • Ability to collect data, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to maintain a professional and positive image in any situation using good judgment.
  • Some familiarity with the use of Excel software, Word, Databases, Internet browsers, E-mail, and business systems software.
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and ability to identify electronic components a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Input quote information into Excel or Quote Win, depending on type of quote from customer prints, save in Excel quote directory, and distribute folders to Materials and Manufacturing Engineer with necessary prints for quoting. (Entry Level)
  • Run Health Management Reports for Quotes (Entry Level)
  • Filing (Electronic and paper) (Entry Level)
  • Review quotation package and collectively with engineering, documentation control, and materials develop a log of issues, a question log, preventing timely and accurate quotations to the customer. (Intermediate Level)
  • Open quotes in Sales Force databases.
  • Convert customer pcb files (typically CAM files) into a set format that will then be sent out to quote. (Intermediate Level)
  • Review customer supplied files to estimate a labor time. (Intermediate Level)
  • Ensure quotations are completed with the highest level of accuracy.
  • Ensure quotations are delivered to the appropriate sales channel with sufficient time to meet customer due dates.
  • Present reports and provide updates based on performance metrics calculated in Salesforce
