About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Coordinator II to join our Project Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations. You will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain seamless document flow and support project success. This is a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 remote) and we are open to hire at any of our Campos EPC co-locations (https://camposcompanies.com/locations).

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years’ experience required. Previous experience in document control within engineering, construction, or project management environments.
  • Proficiency in EDMS tools (e.g., SharePoint) and familiarity with Bluebeam Revu for batch processing.
  • Knowledge of engineering document types, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer document control processes for electronic records.
  • Ensure timely creation, review, approval, and distribution of project and engineering documents in accordance with company and client standards.
  • Verify documentation meets ISO and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Manage and utilize EDMS platforms (e.g., SharePoint or client systems) for storing, organizing, and retrieving documents.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on EDMS usage and best practices.
  • Implement and enforce version control procedures to track revisions and maintain document integrity.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure updates are applied promptly and accurately.
  • Conduct regular audits to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documentation.
  • Address discrepancies and maintain high standards of document quality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for document-related inquiries between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate smooth document exchange processes to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
