The Document Control Assistant plays a crucial role in managing the document control and records management system at a leading medical device manufacturing facility. This in-person position involves processing documents, maintaining compliance with quality management systems, and providing administrative support for audits.

  • Manage the site document control and records management system.
  • Process Greenville documents in GDMS, including reviewing, routing, and distributing copies.
  • Maintain the Annual SOP Review Process, sending notifications and completing reports.
  • Manage the review of global document updates to ensure local compliance.
  • Provide administrative support for external audits and the Quality Systems group.
  • Coordinate the record retention and destruction process.
  • Act as the site administrator for the electronic document management system.
  • Review and edit document content to ensure compliance.
  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in document control.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as quality or regulated labs.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with medical device production standards.
