About The Position

At Tower Loan, our Document Clerks are essential to maintaining accurate and compliant operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for effectively managing and organizing bankruptcy documents, records, and files while ensuring accuracy with company policies and legal requirements. You will also calculate, draft, and file Proofs of Claim (POCs) and communicate with attorneys, court personnel, and company branches to ensure efficient and precise processes. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Proven experience in the legal field preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Organize, sort, file, and retrieve both physical and electronic documents, ensuring they are properly labeled, indexed, and stored for easy access.
  • Data Entry: Input and update information accurately and efficiently into electronic databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
  • Document Retrieval: Respond to requests for specific documents from courts and attorneys, promptly delivering the requested information.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion, adhering to company privacy and security protocols.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, attorneys, courts, and branches regarding document-related inquiries, updates, changes, and deadlines.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
