The Document Advisor role is focused on building and maintaining client relationships to serve as the primary source of trusted advice for all document production and communication needs of client business units. This position involves implementing document management strategies, advising clients on production methods, managing the document lifecycle, and ensuring client satisfaction while meeting corporate standards.

  • Act as the primary source of advice for all document production and communication needs of the client.
  • Implement document management strategies and solutions in partnership with the client.
  • Advise clients on the best production methods to ensure document effectiveness, efficiency, and quality.
  • Manage document lifecycle/production from concept to delivery to meet client requirements and corporate standards.
  • Meet or exceed agreed SLA measures for the client and Xerox.
  • Maintain client satisfaction and resolve queries or issues.
  • Manage stock and budgets to optimum levels where appropriate.
  • Check all documentation and Management Information sent to the client.
  • Build and maintain external supplier relationships, negotiating on cost and delivery timescales.
  • Provide value-added solutions on print production and demand management.
  • Monitor and compile required client and internal reporting.
  • Manage supplier alignment of products and coordinate deliveries into the warehouse.
  • Detailed understanding of print production methods and processes.
  • Experience with commercial print, transaction print, digital print, and graphic communications.
  • Experience in a corporate client account management role, developing relationships and resolving issues.
  • Experience working autonomously and in a print management or production environment.
  • Familiarity with Adobe suites, specifically InDesign.
  • Advanced word processing and spreadsheet experience required.
  • Strong administration and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Relevant industry/sector application knowledge, such as direct mail in the Financial Services sector.
