About The Position

The Department of Health Behavior seeks accomplished and talented candidate(s) to review applications for the departments PhD degree programs. Selected candidate(s) will attend orientation in December 2025, participate in regular admissions committee meetings, and review approximately 20-40 applications for the upcoming academic year cycle. The goal of this position is to help the Admissions Committee make a more informed decision regarding potential applicants for programs. The reviewer will complete a detailed evaluation form for each applicant and provide recommendations to the Admissions Committee based on the applicant’s qualifications. This position is likely to be based in a tele-working environment (i.e. home office), and will attend a one-day on-site admissions meeting at UNC .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Nice To Haves

• Course work in public health, education, or related field
• Experience with graduate admissions preferred
• Experience with MS Teams, and/or other application software preferred.
