About The Position

Preferred Qualifications Skill with group dynamics. Skill to establish professional work relationships with all unit and campus personnel, clients, members of the public and off campus agencies. Experience working in a university counseling service with strong student service orientation. Skills to assess pathology of severe emotional problems, make prognostic indications for short-term therapeutic work with students and to carry out such services. Strong clinical and crisis management skills. Knowledge of giving group presentations, lectures and workshops aimed at bringing a psychological perspective to bear on University life. Self-motivated, reliable, strong team player ability to demonstrate initiative and leadership. Work Schedule Standard working schedule: 8:30am – 5:00pm Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
