About The Position

Do you love puzzles, productivity, and making things flow? As our Doctor Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in keeping providers’ days efficient, patients well cared for, and offices running at their best. While we welcome curiosity and growth, this role requires previous dental office experience or dental-related education to ensure success from day one. Dental Assistants looking for a slight career change are encouraged to apply! The ideal candidate will be able to: Maintain a full schedule of patients daily Create schedules with production as the top goal to achieve Assist patients with understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosis Greet, check-in, and check-out patients in a friendly manner Have regular and predictable attendance. Work individually and cooperatively in a team environment. Be highly organized and excellent attention to detail. Provide excellent customer service. Be compassionate and professional conduct and appearance. Have integrity, dependability, and adherence to professional codes of conduct. Multi-task, organize work, and consistently meet deadlines. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations required for the dental profession (e.g. HIPAA, OSHA, etc.) Monitor and use necessary programs, having primary systems pulled up on the computer at all times. Answer incoming calls in a professional and timely manner, directing the caller to the appropriate person and taking messages when necessary.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Some post-high school education or certification
  • A minimum of 3 years of dental front office experience is required
  • A minimum of 1 year of office experience in Dentrix is required
