Doctor's Assistant - Diagnostic Imaging

We are seeking a skilled and motivated RVT or Veterinary Assistant to join our Advanced Imaging Department. This role is central to supporting our Board-Certified Radiologists and ensuring seamless, seven-day coverage for our advanced imaging services. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about diagnostic excellence, patient safety, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of sedation and anesthesia monitoring.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with WoofWare, PACS, and digital imaging systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily imaging workflows and assist with scheduling and communication between departments.
- Safely restrain patients for ultrasound and advanced imaging procedures.
- Monitor sedated and anesthetized patients during imaging studies.
- Prepare and assist with fine needle aspirates (FNAs), ultrasound-guided biopsies, and other image-guided procedures.
- Enter and verify all patient charges in WoofWare for cases seen by the Radiologists.
- Collaborate closely with our Radiologists to provide efficient, compassionate, and high-quality patient care.
