About The Position

The Procedural Faculty in Family Medicine is responsible for providing high-quality clinical care while teaching and supervising family medicine residents and medical students, with a focus on office-based procedures and Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS). This role includes direct patient care, procedural instruction, curriculum development, and mentorship to ensure learners develop procedural competency and adhere to evidence-based clinical practices. The procedural faculty plays a key role in advancing medical education, promoting patient safety, and supporting the mission of the residency training program. The Medical Center offers a full complement of specialty and subspecialty services including ambulatory, behavioral health, cardiovascular, emergency/trauma, internal medicine, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedic/spine, rehabilitation, surgical specialty, women’s health, imaging and pediatrics.
