Dockworker Full Time No CDL - TForce Freight
About The Position
TForce Freight is a less-than-truckload (LTL) freight carrier in North America, operating as a subsidiary of TFI International. The company provides transportation and logistics services for various types of shipments, including palletized and heavy LTL loads, across 178+ service centers. Services include regional, interregional, long-haul, cross-border transportation, and advanced tracking technology. TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety and customer focused individual to join their growing logistics team as a full-time Dockworker. In this position, the Dockworker will ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently for on-time delivery and good condition to customers. This role involves operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, while maintaining a positive, safety-focused, and professional demeanor.
Requirements
- Forklift operator certification
- Impeccable customer service and dedication
- Safety perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers
- Able to read, write and speak the English language
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong organizational and time managements skills
Responsibilities
- Print BOL for daily deliveries
- Process and palletize all damaged merchandise
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace
- Help maintain and care for dock equipment
- Unload cargo using forklifts
- Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure
