Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced and dedicated Dock Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, sorting, and handling freight in accordance with verbal and written instructions, using pallet jacks and operating forklifts. About the Role: As a Dock Worker at Oliver Inc., you will: Follow written and/or oral instructions. Read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Read and interpret shipping labels. Verify label information on skids and combine skids according to their destinations. Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, following defined safe work practices. Assist drivers in loading and unloading goods or equipment. Perform daily routine inspections of forklifts. Maintain good housekeeping practices around the dock area.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of loading dock work and the skill necessary to understand and perform standardized work routines of minimal difficulty.
• Must be able to operate strapping and stretch-wrapping equipment efficiently and safely.
• Previous forklift experience.
