Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays. The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Dock Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of loading and unloading trailers, ensuring that all products are handled safely and accurately. Your responsibilities will include operating sit-down, propane forklifts and other equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing loads to meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous forklift experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload freight on trailers using a sit-down, propane forklift, pallet jack, or manually, following state and federal DOT guidelines.
- Freight Transport: Safely transport freight and equipment throughout the warehouse.
- Pallet Handling: Manually pull and stack pallets as needed; rebuild damaged pallets prior to shipping.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy equipment such as manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, various forklifts, etc.
- Trailer Preload Coordination: Inspect trailers to ensure loads are complete and accurate.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate loading documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and maintain proper load security.
- Perform other duties as needed or instructed.
