The position involves properly loading and unloading freight using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Responsibilities include strapping, bracing, and padding freight to prevent damage or shifting, as well as accurately recording the condition of freight upon arrival at the terminal. Employees are required to perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment. Regular attendance is mandatory, and the job may require performing additional duties as assigned based on operational and safety needs.
